QA Engineer (offline)

Responsibilities:
• Work in partnership with the product and engineering teams
• Creating and executing manual tests for applications, logging bugs and reporting results
• Opening defect tickets with clear, detailed explanations and instructions to reproduce
• Work with developers and support personnel to identify and correct defects
• Reporting progress and status to project leads
• Reviewing design to verify requirements implemented
• Evaluation of implementation against the requirements and design
• Performing tests at various system and subsystem levels
• Creating release notes and release reports
• Ensure all requirements are adequately verified
• Cover periodical release activities
• Provide status reports for consistent findings and proposed solutions

Reporting:
• Directly to the Product Manager

Qualifications:
• Degree qualified in a computer, science, electronics, math or engineering related subject
• 3 years+ experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mind-set
• Fast learner/willing to learn about the newest development technologies
• Passionate about new technologies
• Intermediate in spoken and written English.
