About VMedia

VMedia Inc. is Canada’s leading independent provider of residential telecom and broadcasting services, serving a growing customer base of Canadian households coast to coast. VMedia is also a leader in streaming TV technology, providing a B2B, TV-as-a-Service solution to third party content providers and distributors.

Since its launch in 2013, VMedia has been dedicated to providing Canadians with affordable Internet, TV, Home Phone and Home Security services, offering a real, competitive alternative to the major incumbents. VMedia’s value proposition of lower prices, unlimited usage, no contracts, innovative features and excellent customer service continues to drive our growth as more and more Canadians discover the VMedia advantage.

VMedia is also committed to fighting for competition in the marketplace to ensure that Canadians have the benefit of fair pricing for telecom services, in particular residential internet, which is now a utility and essential to every household. We have been at the forefront of this years-long battle with the major telcos and cable companies, and before the CRTC, the Courts and the Federal Cabinet, so that the major incumbents cannot continue to charge Canadians unjust and unreasonable prices for essential services.

Recently, VMedia launched a new business-to-business division, VMedia TVaaS, which provides streaming TV platforms for content creators, providers and distributors to enable them to reach their customers directly, and reduce their reliance on content aggregators like the large cable and fibre providers. The VMedia TVaaS solution allows them to offer customised linear and on-demand programming, highlighting all of their content library assets, and delivering an industry-leading streaming experience across a variety of popular streaming platforms.

Currently, VMedia has over 250 employees based in our offices in Toronto and Montreal, Canada, Hyderabad, India and Antalya, Turkey.
