For the development of a next generation of premium vehicles, we are looking for Senior Embedded C Developers . Join our team of enthusiastic and experienced Software Engineers in Luxoft and develop software for an entire functional area of a car, working on vital in-car applications utilized in future vehicles of a renowned German and Italian automotive manufacturers worldwide.

Develop features that will be used daily by millions of drivers once the next generation of vehicles hit the roads, focusing on one of the following areas:
- HMI & UX
- Body Control & Comfort functions
- Connected Vehicle & Cloud Solutions
- ADAS / Autonomous Driving
- Simulation & virtual ECU
- Sensor Calibration & Sensor Data Validation

Responsibilities
- You develop and integrate new features in C
- You contribute to the software architecture and clarify requirements
in cooperation with the client and the team
- You perform code analysis, refactoring and optimize legacy code
- You utilize common design patterns as well as the advantages of object
oriented programming
- You develop robust and effective code and ensure high quality by performing unit tests, simulation on real data
(software in the loop) as well as simulation of the software on the
target hardware (hardware in the loop)
- You will participate in community / chapter activities outside of your project

Skills
Must have

- Academic degree in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunication engineering or similar qualification
- 5+ years of experience as Software Engineer
- Previous experience with AUTOSAR (Classic or Adaptive) stack or SWC developments
- Excellent C background, as well as an great embedded understanding and software debugging skills
- Understanding of low-level limitations and performance optimization
- Experience in at least one Scripting language (Python, lua)
- Great understanding of the software development lifecycle, including testing, code coverage, and code quality
- Open to learn new tech and adjust to new ways of working
- Good communication skills in English (writing & speaking) along with team spirit
- Self-organized and diligent
- Enthusiasm for automotive

- Experience with CAN, Flexray and/or Ethernet in Automotive context
- Experience with Qt and QML
- Experience in C++ and OOP
- Experience in device driver or kernel development under Linux or QNX, also in open-source projects
