What Does a Manual QA Engineer Do?

We are looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.

In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you.

Team: 4 React Native+Python Developers, BA, UI/UX Designer, PO.

Requirements

- 1+ years experience as QA Engineer(mobile apps);

- Solid knowledge of QA methodologies and practices;

- Experience in creating/maintaining test documentation (test case, user case, bug report);

- You know the meaning of Manual Testing, Regression Testing, Functional Testing, Test methodology, Fiddler, API Testing / Postman, TCP/IP, HTML, Chrome Dev Tools, JIRA, and Web Testing;

- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes;

- Understanding of bug reporting and bug processing workflows;

- Good knowledge of SDLC and bug life cycle;

- High analytical skills, fast learner, attention to detail; passionate about quality and user experience;

- Upper-Intermediate writing/speaking English skills.

Nice to have

- Knowledge of iOS user interface guidelines/Android material design guidelines;

- Experience in web testing;

- Basic knowledge of Google Chrome dev tools;

- Higher computer or mathematical education.

- Working with support and moderation;

- Working with a bug-tracking system.
