Junior-Middle C++ Developer Offline

The client is one of the world's leading providers of sports betting brokerage software. The flagship product is a platform that offers users real-time price comparison and integrated execution across multiple bookmakers and betting exchanges.

You will help maintain and extend a large-scale distributed system written primarily in modern C++ and Boost.Asio.

Required Skills:

• Up to 3 years commercial programming experience, which includes 1-2 years of experience using C++14 or newer.

• Solid understanding of OOP concepts and modern C++ features, including memory management facilities such as smart pointers, move semantics, etc.

• Experience with multi-threaded applications and TCP networking.

• The ability to produce good quality code in a timely manner.

• The ability to communicate well and work productively in a team.

• Knowledge of Linux and Git.

On a day-to-day basis your responsibilities will include:

• Writing high quality asynchronous C++20 code and testing it.

• Working in a tight-knit team to solve complex technical problems.

• Reasoning about multi-threading, networking, and mission-critical infrastructure.

• Cooperating with team members on interesting projects using an Agile methodology and

tools (Scrum, Gitlab, Jira).

• Helping and mentoring team members by reviewing merge requests and showing them

best practices.
