Junior Python/Full Stack Developer Offline

Tangible AI is helping nonprofits and social businesses to increase their impact custom-made AI-powered applicatins and chatbots.

We are looking for a junior developer that enjoys creating and scaling web applications with Python.

You will start with a 1-3 month remote part-time contract (15-20 hours a week) with the aim to grow into full-time employment.

In this role, you will

- Build, improve and scale Django web apps

- Develop software and algorithms using Python

- Set up CI/CD pipelines and leverage cloud services to scale your - applications

Some of the projects you might be working on:

- Django chatbot backend with Svelte (JavaScript) frontend

- Python data manipulation and cleaning scripts

- Django-based analytics platform for chatbots

Job requirements and necessary skills

- 6 months or more of project-based Python experience

- Great written communication in English

- Availability between 9am and 11am Pacific time zone (we're based in California).

- Portfolio of open-source Python work

- Problem solving skills and ability to learn independently

- Ability to independently prioritize work on simultaneous ongoing projects

- Nice to have: Experience with Django and GitLab CI/CD

- Nice to have: JavaScript and frontend development skills
