Project Manager Offline
Requirements
Hard skills:
— One year+ of experience as a project manager in IT;
— Experience in managing a distributed team on two or more projects;
— Good spoken and written English (we have a lot of oral communication with foreign clients, so it is important to be confident in communication);
— Jira/Trello/Asana/Monday/ClickUp have pushed Facebook and Instagram off your smartphone home screen, and taken most of your screen time;
— You know and successfully apply Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies;
— You understand how to properly and painlessly integrate a new team into existing products;
— You are good with numbers, can easily count percentages, you are an Excel or SpreadSheets master;
— You are good at organizing and structuring information, and distributing documents and project data in the right places;
— Strong tactical and analytical skills;
— Ability to prioritize. You can ensure that tasks from To Do are transferred to Done on time.
Soft skills:
— Your work is perfectly organized — it’s not a problem for you to work with 20-25 tasks a day, and quickly adapt to changing priorities;
— You have developed strategic thinking and risk management skills. You can spot a potential threat ahead of time and think about how to react or prevent it;
— It is not a problem for you to work with a large amount of heterogeneous documentation — you can confidently distribute, analyze and convey everything to the designer;
— You are very meticulous and diligent, and you can “catch bugs” in designs, and check the implementation of each client’s comment, all without getting annoyed by mistakes;
— You know how to successfully maneuver between the client’s desires and the designer’s vision, politely guiding everyone towards a single solution;
— It will not be a problem for you to handle a lot of incoming information from Slack, TG, WhatsAPP, email, Gmail chat, etc., capturing all requests and not losing small messages from clients or team members;
—You are able to adequately respond to criticism, evaluate the objectivity of comments and implement corrective actions if necessary.
Would be an advantage
— Experience working with UI/UX designers.
Responsibilities
— Processing tasks on the products of existing and new clients of the studio — working with the brief and requirements, searching for a match between the project and the competence of the designer(s), setting up tasks, and monitoring the timing and quality of the work performed;
— Operational work — compiling estimates and investing in them, fixing how many hours someone spent on what, generating full-fledged reports from this to the client, maneuvering between deadlines to manage the load of designers (usually, each designer of the studio participates in from 1 to 3 projects at the same time);
— Planning and self-development — together with the designers of the studio, track trends and effectively implement them in clients’ products, and develop both through personal enthusiasm and through the company’s plans to strengthen the team’s expertise;
— Live the story of the client’s product together with the studio team, fight for its implementation as if it were your own personal product;
— We do not expect that the candidate will be able to work independently in Figma or Draw.io from the first day, but given the specifics of the studio, we assume that they will be able, if necessary, to rivet a quick mockup for the client, estimate the mindmap of the application and discuss it with the design team.
