Back-end Developer Node.js (Long Term Project) $1000-1500 Offline

A Long Term Project (NDA) requires a powerful Back-end Developer (2−3 years of experience). Our company has been working with a client for the 7th year. You will work in a dedicated team for this project (~15 guys). Communication and technical documentation in English only (written English required). The client and his team are strong technical specialists, the tasks on the project are interesting and complex. Big traffic. Big budget. Big responsibility. A lot of work (100% workload). Our working conditions

- First two month will be a paid probation period;

- Traineeship period paid as fixed monthly payment in UAH;

- Stable salary;

- Hourly rate is set in $;

- Official employment (by contract);

- Full work load of 160−200 hours per month and hourly rate ensuring all (extra) hours are paid;

- Revision of the hourly rate every six months by 5−50% (see more details in the «Opportunities/benefits» section below);

- Quarterly bonus, project performance based;

- English classes 2 times per week (groups of two people, after work hours);

- MacBook Pro 13/16, 4K monitor, stand, mouse, keyboard, headphones, comfortable chair, company branded T-shirt and mug;

- 75% of the salary is also paid for «bench». «Bench» means standby time — when you don’t have project and you work on your IDP or other personal/internal tasks to improve your knowledge and skills;

- Working day from 8:00 to 17:00 (2);

- Breakfast, lunches and other things in the kitchen at the expense of the company (coffee, tea, cookies, sweets, yogurts and drinks in the refrigerator);

- Work in one of two offices: 7 minutes from Osokorki metro station: 8 minutes from Lukianivska metro station or 15 minutes from Kontraktova Square metro station. (In a month, a new office is starting its work, 7 minutes away from Taras Shevchenko metro station).

 

Requirements

- 1−2 year’s experience;

- Strong knowledge of JS and Typescript;

- Experience with relational databases (particularly PostgreSQL);

- Experience with NoSQL databases (particularly Redis);

- Confident working with the Git version control system;

- Understanding basic design patterns and being able to apply them;

- Understanding and organizing CI/CD processes.

 

Would be a plus

- Knowledge of the Nest.js framework;

- High-loaded applications experience;

- Experience in working with large data sets, statistics;

- SQL queries optimizing experience;

- Minimal frontend development experience;

- Out-of-the-box thinking :)

(2) The plan for the day is made at the stand-up meeting and must be accomplished (considering common sense) within the day according to the checkpoints. After accepting the work, the PM finalizes the working day.
