Senior Frontend Development Engineer for Svitla (Poland)

Location: Kraków/ Katowice/ Rzeszów/ Warszawa/ Łódź.
Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Frontend Development Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week).

The Kraków center provides dedicated support for colleagues and customers in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia markets. Based in the Kraków office, this multi-functional and specialist team will drive operational excellence of services, improve scale for the systems and processes globally and create business-leading capabilities. Whether making products, software, or systems, the teams each focus on a particular area, taking strategic ownership of the architecture, design, testing, deployment, infrastructure, operation, and security of the systems in their domain, to ensure agile, smooth, and safe procedures, and maximum business impact.
They are building a next-generation platform of continuous integration and delivery tools for the teams across the Colleague area. Your contribution will directly impact how to build, release and monitor the applications in production, as well as a profound impact on the development experience of hundreds of highly skilled engineers. Leveraging on tools like Kubernetes, Helm, Grafana, and others, and services like Azure Cloud, and Azure DevOps, you will be responsible for the success of many other talented engineers on their journey to deliver high-quality, performant applications.


Requirements:
-3+ years of commercial experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
-Experience with React.
-Proficiency in GraphQL.

-Expertise in a functional approach.
-Expertise in Reactive approach (e.g., RxJS, NestJS).
-Expertise in monorepos: testing (e.g. Unit Tests, E2E Tests).
-Written & spoken English skills.
-Experience in running and supporting software in production (DevOps approach).
-Problem-solving, analysis, and computational skills. You are comfortable designing systems and reasoning about them.
-When tackling problems, you take a thorough and logical approach to solving them and retain ownership through resolution.
-Experience designing and developing systems for high availability and scalability.
-Experience working within an e-commerce or at-scale business where security, availability, and reliability are valued.
-Depth of professional knowledge of software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
-Collaboration and teamwork skills.
-Familiarity with industry practices, best practices, code reviews, etc.
-Agile methods of work are preferred.



Nice to have:

-Experience with Node.js.
