YANG Catalog project
YANG catalog is an open-source project that collects .yang files from various sources (mostly Github repositories). These files (YANG models) are then parsed and various metadata are obtained from them. All these metadata are stored in our databases (Redis and Elasticsearch). This allows us to search individual YANG modules, and their revisions, and also directed the data that are defined in these YANG models. Users can search for all this data through the WEB application (Angular app)
At the same time, they can obtain this data directly using API endpoints (Flask framework).
Required Skills
Python + Flask + pytest
experience with JSON files
experience with Git
experience with Linux (ability to work inside Ubuntu Virtual machine)
As a plus
Knowledge of Redis and Elasticsearch databases
Knowledge of Angular/Typescript or Javascript
Docker + docker-compose + Kubernetes
Responsibilities
• Responsible for development, analysis, design, maintenance, testing, and direction & vision of the software and products
• Responsible for giving further directions, acting as a technical lead
• Giving visions of the software and products
• Supervising overall quality of the development
