Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer (offline)

Main responsibilities for this position would be:

Collaborating with development teams to plan, deploy and administer applications running on AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes
Monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining Kubernetes clusters, EL(F)K stacks and MSK clusters
Maintaining AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles
Initiating and driving the adoption of technologies and use of good patterns for development and operations
Actively participating in proposing and evaluating solutions for various technical improvements or business requirements
Keeping up to date with the latest tools and trends in the industry

Main requirements:

University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar discipline
Experience with at least 2 of the following:
Kubernetes production administration (preferably EKS)
ELK (ILM, index templates, RBAC, ingest pipelines)
Kafka (ACL, advanced topic configuration)
Professional experience with Docker
AWS is a very broad area, so experience with core services is mandatory (compute, storage, networking, database, and identity & access management)
Proven production experience in Terraform
Problem solving and analytical thinking skills
Outstanding team working skills
Ability to work autonomously
Good communication skills
Good English

Nice to have:

AWS additional services
Experience or knowledge in CI/CD with Gitlab will be considered an advantage
Experience or knowledge of service mesh (such as Istio)
Experience in monitoring tools (such as New Relic, Prometheus)
Advanced Linux skills
