QA (C#) Automation Engineer Offline
As a QA automation engineer, you will create and maintain existing automation test suites using Selenium WebDriver with C#. Your responsibilities include implementing new automated test cases written bymanual QA and QA documentation team members, maintaining existing smoke and regression webtests, and debugging and defining corrective actions for failing test cases. You will also be investigating and proposing new technologies to assist with test coverage, performance etc. and track QA metrics.Our ideal co-worker is a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wantsto continuously improve their industry and cloud experience. Responsibilities:
- Review test case documentation and specifications provided by Manual QA team members to provide timely and meaningful feedback;
- Assist with and provide estimates for test case automation etc. as part of sprint planning;
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track test case automation status in our project management tool (Jira);
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., Developers, Product managers, DevOPS) to ensure QA automation meets requirements;
- Stay up to date with new automation tools, cloud technologies etc;
- Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining performance, daily;
- Participate and communicate within Project team and QA management or key partner groups.
Qualifications:
- Work experience in QA automation;
- Experience with Web browser and API test automation is preferred;
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (agile, scrum), Software Development, Lifecycle, tools, and processes;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, problem solving and analytical skills;
- Experience working with JIRA in an Agile/Scrum development process;
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering etc. preferred but not required;
- Technical Skills.
