Senior NodeJS engineer

We're now building a new team for one of the Silicon Valley startups. It enables every company to confidently operate a hybrid work model (remote + in-office) while still maximizing safety, productivity, and performance. Few companies get to face such diverse technical challenges.

Responsibilities

- Understand business needs
- Design and document technical solutions
- Write clean and maintainable code, perform code-reviews
- Establish optimal processes and state-of-the-art engineering practices
- Help team to self-organize
- Take ownership of the system quality
- Monitor/support the system in production

Skills Required
- Good English to communicate daily with customers, outstanding self-org skills;
- 5+ years of experience with Back-End;
- Expert-level knowledge of NodeJS;
- Hands-on experience with AWS;
- Experience with TypeScript;

Important note: as long as you have the experience/abilities, we don’t care how you got there! This may look like 5+ years in the industry, computer science or other relevant advanced degree, impressive personal projects/accomplishments, or any other meaningful experience
