Middle+ QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer eager to experience the professional working environment and demonstrate your professional skills.

Responsibilities:

— English: intermediate level or higher;
— Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.;
— Ability to prepare test design according to the defined test approach to guarantee full coverage of product specifications or requirements.;
— Ability to prepare documents from scratch.;
— Ability to perform defect analysis and write detailed and helpful defect reports with expected results for resolving defect.;
— Suggesting product/testing areas suitable for automated testing (such as UI/API automation, performance, load, stress, stability, or integration).;

Nice to have:
— Ability to create SQL queries and execute them.;
— Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language.;
— Ability to create UML diagram based on product business analysis.;

Requirements:
— Knowledge of all possible applications types (such as web, desktop, etc) and specifics of their testing.;
— Knowledge of client-server conception.;
— Knowledge of web-based applications types and how they work.;
— Knowledge of testing techniques: test results should be reliable and should not be additionally validated.;

Experience:
— At least 2 years of experience in product testing/development life cycle.;

The client is an investment management firm dedicated to managing risk for their clients via quantitative research-driven strategies. The client would like to redevelop their current website from scratch in order to make it more convenient and user friendly with easy navigation, improve the storytelling about the company and its services as well as make it look more modern and uptodate. Business Objectives The client wants to increase conversion of the website as well as make it easier to add new content/pages and manage the website. Plus in future expand the functionality with Advisor Portal, Investment Strategies Functionality, Proposal System
