As a means to support Ukraine, Datagrok is announcing junior developer position.

Responsibilities:

● Hone your developer skills building real-world applications

● Work with scientific datasets and learn new domains

● Explore cutting-edge technologies

● Contribute to the open source

● Collaborate with all members of our team, across the entire development cycle

● Present your work at staff meetings

● Scripting on the platform with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python/R for extending Datagrok

● Together with the Datagrok team, participate in projects for implementing and maintaining real-world Datagrok packages for life sciences in open source

Requirements:

● Education: master's or bachelor's degree (a 4th or 5th year student is OK)

● Strong foundation in math and algorithms

● Able to write a tetris game from scratch in 1 day

● Motivated to learn and improve your skills

● Good English (at least B1)

● Flexibility with respect to U.S. working hours.

Nice to have:

● Life sciences / academia background / PhD is a strong plus

● Some experience with web development.
