WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Android developers who will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our Android app and it’s integration with back-end services.
THE POSITION
Your primary focus will be development of Android applications. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers all working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating a quality product is essential.
YOUR TASKS
Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
Work with your team and testers to identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Ensure current codes do not interfere with past functions
Work with other Android developers and helping each other to maintain
functional sync with other front-end teams
TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST HAVE
3+ years’ experience developing Android applications
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes, including tablets
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Proficiency in Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”
Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
Sound understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Github, or Azure DevOps
Familiar with continuous integration/ continuous deployment, and version branches to sync on version release on google play store
Familiar with Google Play Store and Play Console to publish test and live Android Apps

About Eve.world
We are a well funded start up; deep tech super mobile app. A female only platform of social media, community, e-commerce & gamification. (Blockchain, web3, token economy, AI/ML)We operate in Agile methodology using Jira . On frontend we are native for both Android (Kotlin) and IOS, with clean architecture, building block structure.
On backend our infrastructure is set up on AWS, we use Laravelle PHP, MySQL to power our CMS and and in-house recommendation systems, search, CMS and automation tools
For API we are using .Net 6.0, C#, MySQL, Swagger, Github, and the aforementioned JIRA, AWS and Agile methodology (Scrum)
We are also building our own blockchain and video rendering and AI & ML engines.
We are fully remote with a team currently spread throughout Singapore, Taiwan, India, Ukraine, Poland & Turkey.
