Manual QA Engineer (offline)

What you'll be doing:
•Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
•Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
•Identify, record, document and track bugs using tools used by FO
•Perform regression and integration testing when bugs are resolved
•Work closely with internal teams (e.g.,developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
•Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defects
•Be familiar with testing tools and methodologies
•Write clear yet detailed bug report
•Develop quality standards and adhere to company policies and securities
•Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team

What you'll need:
•3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing
•English -at least intermediate level (you will communicate a lot with US team)
•Experience in analyzing the business requirements, mapping them to technical requirements and writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
•Experience in API testing tools that require coding skills to create tests in REST Assured, Jmeter or Postman
•Good experience and knowledge of SDLC and STLC
•Good experience in estimation of test efforts and analyzing the risk to projects
•Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
•Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
•Ability to interact with developers regarding testing status and defect change tracking
•Sharp attention to detail
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Great team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision

Bonus Points:
•QA Certification
•Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
•Experience in Java or Python
•Experience or good understanding of automation tools: Selenium,Test Complete, Ranorex or PCloudy
•Experience in source control and version control tools like Git and Bitbucket
•Experience in testing frameworks: Junit, TestNG and JBehave
•Experience writing SQL/DB queries and scripting
•Experience in developing software solutions
•Experience being a QA in the telecom industry
•Experience with performance and/or security testing
•Experience and knowledge in AWS
•Coordinating the work with offshore teams, mentoring, and assisting them
