Backend Node.js Developer (React + AWS) $2000-7000 Offline

Team Structure:

Solution architect, 7 mid-senior JS Developers, 3 manual QA engineers, lead automation QA engineer, Senior DevOps engineer.

Requirements:

3+ years experience in software development

advanced knowledge of Node.js, Express.js

good knowledge of JavaScript, React, Redux, Webpack, Material UI, SCSS

Databases: MongoDB, Mongoose

queues: RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, SQS

knowledge of Git

backend and frontend performance optimizations

security layer optimizations

HTTP protocol understanding, CORS

TDD / BDD

excellent soft skills, team-player attitude

Good presentational skills

English: Upper-intermediate level

Will be a plus:

Linux and shell scripting experience

experience with AWS (AWS S3, AWS EC2, AWS CloudFront) bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science

experience with CI/CD tools like Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, Travis, etc.

experience with monitoring tools: Kibana, Grafana, etc

knowledge of building scaling environment – Docker Compose, Kubernetes, ECS (AWS)

expertise in Typescript and Python

Responsibilities:

Write secure and performant code

Bug fixing

Work with legacy code (backbone) and migrate it to new

Participate in scrum ceremonies
