Being one of the global market giants in the business travel industry, the company provides various top-grade hotel management portals. Their solutions simplify the booking and management processes equally for corporates, travel managers, and travelers.

PROJECT DETAILS

What are we building?

Brand new platform for booking online meetings and groups, with instant booking and confirmation!

Platform’s core is a request funnel that will calculate the costs for a meeting based on market-standard requirements for meeting rooms, catering, and equipment.

The pricing automation yield management, big data, different databases – the opportunity to automate pricing models for customers and suppliers, and a new UI and booking engine.

SCRUM team consisting of PO, Developers, Tester, and DevOps.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementation of web applications

Conducting code reviews

Designing software solutions

Ensuring SLA of products

Active participation in product growth

Mostly new features development

Participation in SCRUM ceremonies

Technologies: Postgres DB, AWS (RDS, EC2, mail service, Cognito, S3), Java 16, Spring Boot 2.5+ (security, web, data, cloud), Hibernate, microservices, Kafka, JUnit/Mockito, Jira, GitLab as CI/CD

An advantage would be:

Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, ElastiCache, Docker

SKILLS

Several years of professional experience as Java Developer

Knowledge of SQL, databases and their performance

Understanding of software development process

Solid standards for clean code and test coverage

Flexibility, initiative, fast learning abilities

Ability to work in a team and take responsibility

Experience with Agile methodologies

Good knowledge of English (B1-B2)
