JavaScript Developer (offline)

Our client is an American Digital Agency.
Projects - Vue/React interfaces based on Magento back-end (or Shopify or BigCommerce), i.e. integration with API.

Requirements:
3+ years experience with responsive HTML, CSS;
Strong knowledge of JavaScript with a proven track record of project work;
2+ years with Node.js framework and/or 3+ years with React.js or a similar framework;
Experience with one of the CSS preprocessors, SCSS or LESS;
Full-stack development experience (REST APIs Backend, DB modeling, CI/CD, Deployment automation);
API integrations;
Solid understanding of REST APIs;
Solid understanding of GraphQL;
Comfortable with cloud hosting providers and services such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud. Capable of creating and configuring JavaScript applications hosted in the cloud;
Experience working with one or more modern e-Commerce platforms would be a big plus (Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud / Demandware, etc.);
Code version control (git);
Issue tracking systems (Jira, Workfront, Wrike, etc);
UI/UX collaboration tools (InvisionApp, Sketch, Zeplin, Axure, Adobe XD, or similar).

Soft Skills:
A detail-oriented person with an eye for good UI/UX;
Understanding of the basics of good user experience;
Team player;
Strong verbal communication skills;
Strong work and time management skills;
English - intermediate or higher (B1+ level);
Senior developers will be expected to interact directly with clients during calls and status update meetings;
Strong critical thinking and self-guided troubleshooting & problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
Translate business and technical requirements and UI mockups into fully functioning websites including the UI components, front-end JavaScript applications, as well as back-end JavaScript applications using various frameworks, API integrations, and services.
Extending functionality of eCommerce websites using their APIs to integrate externally hosted JavaScript applications.
Integration of 3rd-party applications, building data transformation, and connector middleware
Close collaboration with a cross-functional team (PM, BA, QA, as well as other developers). The team may be distributed across different time zones and even continents.
Review, estimation, and critical approach to the assigned tasks - don’t be shy to point out gaps, mistakes or simply propose a better approach.
