Junior DevOps Engineer (offline)

Strong technical background, problem analysis skills as well as good communications skills are essential. The successful candidate will work in an agile team environment on cloud-based enterprise applications deployed to both internal and external clients.

Tasks and responsibilities:
- Deployment of software to multiple operating environments; installation and configuration of application environments
- Day-to-day administration of multiple operating environments and troubleshooting issues that arise
- Support development of processes and procedures for deployment, operations, and maintenance
- Automate existing manual processes

Professional requirements:
- Systems engineering or DevOps experience
- Experience in configuration, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins)
- Knowledge of a scripting language (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and metric collection systems (e.g., Prometheus, Nagios, ELK)
- Version Control Systems experience (Git preferred)
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Experience with administration of Windows Server/Linux OSes;
- Understanding of basic network services and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SSH)
- Experience with database systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
