Job Summary



The role of the Project manager is to create a project strategy, project plan, set achievable and project budget(s), implement said strategies and coordinating the project team with a pipeline in order to achieve mentioned strategy and goals. Furthermore, the role includes managing the project team, the project marketing, the project sales as well as developing markets and approaching possible exhibitors.

Responsibilities

· Project strategy: (Creation of the event concept) - (Analysis of previous shows and market trends through statistics and market research) - (Identify contributors – exhibitors, sponsors, associations, governments, other entities) - (Setting of quantitative achievable)

. Budgeting and Financial analysis of entire Project

· Project plan: (Create and implementing pipeline & timeline) - (Creating and implementing budget) - (Allocating quantitative achievable to individual team members)

· Operations: (Approaching selected contributors, establishing and maintaining network with said contributors) - (Market research and market development) - (Establishing and implanting branding for the exhibition) - (Researching and visiting relevant exhibitions) - (Conducting sales) - (Ensuring timeline and pipeline are followed & achievable are met) – (Preparing a weekly show update report to be presented to the company’s management)

· Team Management: (Tracking & evaluation of performance of team members in accordance with achievable) - (Conducting team meetings) - (Identifying training needs of team members)

· Direct and oversee completion of project

· Develop long and short term resource and work plans

· Assess risks and establish contingency plans

· Manage work and inputs from a variety of stakeholders

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor's degree and a Project Management Degree/Diploma/Certification

· 10+ years of experience in project management rom an Events/Exhibitions perspective

· Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project

· Strong communication skills in English, Arabic is an advantage

· Experience working with a team

· Knowledge of a Project Management software

· Experience working with, and knowledge of the markets in the key regions for the role\
