Sr QA Automation Engineer (offline) $1000-3000

The Sr QA Engineer is a technical role responsible for a broad range of testing tasks. The overall objective of this role is to ensure we ship quality, reliable, scalable solutions for our financial software products.

This role is focused on primarily automating testing for back-end logic, APIs, and UI. Coordinating with Product Owners and Technical Architects to ensure quality feedback loops are maintained. You will be expected to be highly envolved in the development process as well, working with Developers to ensure you understand how the product works and are ready to pick it up once development finishes.


Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of work experience in software quality assurance
• SELENIUM experiounce is a must
• Solid experience in any of the programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript etc
• Experience working with Selenium automation testing, Jmeter etc
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and process
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Solid experience in automation tools for unit, functional, API, UI, performance and/or security testing
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• JIRA knowledge will be an advantage
• Experience in Git is mandatory


Roles and Responsibilities:

• Reviewing requirement documents, specifications to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities
• Designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform different levels of testing such as regression testing, sanity testing, smoke testing etc
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product owners) to identify system requirements, debug results
• Track quality assurance metrics
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
