Java Developer (offline)

Project Overview:
This is the Billing Solution for the big Telecom Company.

Requirements:
- 1+ years of demonstrated experience in distributed enterprise application design and programming
- Have developed and supported large, custom-built object-oriented applications with legacy codebases
- Expert in Java SE 8 and other programming languages such as PHP
- Experience with SQL and MySQL including relational database design
- Experience working with a fast-paced agile team using Kanban and Scrum
- Excels in collaboration with a distributed team
- Exceptionally self-motivated, solid interpersonal skills, and excellent verbal/written English communication skills
- Extremely detail-oriented, committed to excellence, and takes unrelenting pride in the code you write
- Ability to discern user requirements and develop specifications
- Strong problem solving/troubleshooting/debugging skills, willingness to take ownership and risks, and enthusiasm in the face of technical challenges
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment within a start-up culture
- Rigor and a disciplined approach in test coverage, quality assurance, and other software development best practices
- Experience working with Maven, Jira, BitBucket, Git, G Suite, Slack

Would be a plus:
- Experience in the development of billing, accounting, fintech solutions.

Your Role:
- Code enterprise applications with a focus on quality, reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Rapidly iterate on product and platform features by quickly understanding requirements and producing good quality code.
- Be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from ideation through architecture and execution.
- Ensure technical issues are quickly resolved and implement strategies and solutions to help reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
- Help evolve the software development methodology based on agile and lean thinking, including impacting the development of coding conventions, documentation standards, testing procedures, and quality assurance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices.
- Be a subject matter expert by identifying technology trends and platforms and collaborate with other team members to make recommendations based on the company’s needs.
- Identify competitive services, opportunities for innovation, and provide an assessment of obstacles and technical hurdles to the success of the project.
