DevOps Engineer (Prometheus + Grafana stack, ELK, Nagios) Offline

SRE/Monitoring Engineer is a separate branch of DevOps development that requires special attention in every project. We don’t react to problems, we prevent them, and reliable monitoring is our assistant in this. Our team includes professionals who love their work and strive to implement projects according to the best practices.

Your responsibilities:

- Design monitoring solution. At this stage, you’ll need to collect all the information about the project and application, identify infrastructure bottlenecks, draw up a diagram of your monitoring vision and select the necessary tools to implement the plan.

- Setting up monitoring and automation. We try to adhere to the slogan “Don’t reproduce yourself, which means that it will be necessary not only to implement the planned vision but also to automate the entire stack.

- Setting up and automating Log solutions. At this stage, it will be necessary to implement log solution not only for the needs of the DevOps team, but also for the needs of customers. Also, this solution will need to be automated in order not to have to do a complete setup from scratch.

- Set up alerting.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

- At least 2–3 years experience in Linux/Unix administration;

- Experience in monitoring technologies: Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, CheckMK, New Relic;

- Good analytics and troubleshooting skills;

- Experience in configuration of log solutions — ELK stack or Grafana/Loki;

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes would be a plus;

- Experience in automation with Ansible is welcome;

- MUST HAVE a written & verbal English and demonstrated an ability to collaborate across teams and organizations;

- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and improve technical skills.
