Front-End Developer (React) @WePlay Esports (offline)

Now we are looking for a Front-End Developer who will be responsible for providing graphics and statistics for eSports disciplines during broadcasts. You have the opportunity to participate in a dynamically developing field, work with microservice architecture and see immediately the result of your work.

Project stack: React, ElectronJS, Python(Django), PostgreSQL, Git.

ABOUT PRODUCTS:

WePlay Esports Broadcast Solution (WEBS) is an internal product of WePlay Esports. WEBS is a bunch of solutions to create high-quality production with the integration of unique visual graphics and providing different types of statistics data during the broadcast.

Broadcast graphics system - solution for managing broadcast and stage graphics that provides information about tournaments, teams, players. Integrates with statistics services and converts collected data into the visual content and triggers stage special effects.

Heads-up display (HUD) is a graphical addition to the gaming interface. Statistics and team/player information is shown in the form of tournament-themed styles.

Stats services - services that gather game historical and in-game statistics during the broadcast.


What will be your responsibilities?

-Development of new and maintaining the existing functionality of HUD (Heads-up display/Electron JS) applications developed for esports disciplines CS:GO, Dota 2;
-Maintaining existing React applications;
-Contribute to writing the front-end of a new Django application;
-Participation in planning and technical discussions of tasks with the team;
-Code review of the team's HTML coders and frontend developers from other teams.

What do we expect from you?

-2+ years experience with React;
-Experience with Electron JS will be a plus;
-English - intermediate level;
-The desire to learn new things and strive to develop technical skills;
-High level of responsibility and commitment to writing clean code.
