DevOps Engineer $4000-5500 Offline

Our client is Germany’s largest IT system house and a leading IT e-commerce provider in Europe. They provide comprehensive IT solutions ranging from consultation, procurement and delivery of hardware and software, project planning and implementation, system integration, maintenance, training and even the complete on-site operation of IT systems.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer;

• Extensive knowledge of AWS and/or Azure;

• Hands on experience with on-premise servers migrations;

• Strong experience with Jenkins pipelines, Docker;

• Experience with Linux system administration (bash scripting);

• Experience with puppet, ansible or chef;

• Hands on experience with build tools (cmake, maven, sbt);

• Good source control knowledge (Git, Gerrit);

• Upper intermediate and higher English;

• Knowledge of German is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Advice and implement effective monitoring of common or shared services such as messaging queues, databases, and web servers;

• Build and maintain CI & CD infrastructure;

• Work with development teams to ensure the security and scalability of deployed solutions;

• Develop deployment strategies for new services;

• Communication with customer;

• Estimation of efforts.
