DevOps Engineer $4000-5500 Offline

Our client is Germany’s largest IT system house and a leading IT e-commerce provider in Europe. Corporate and public clients of all shapes and sizes rely on their unique blend of streamlined IT procurement and end-to-end services. They provide comprehensive IT solutions ranging from consultation, procurement and delivery of hardware and software, project planning and implementation, system integration, maintenance, training and even the complete on-site operation of IT systems.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer;

• Extensive knowledge of AWS and/or Azure;

• Hands on experience with on-premise servers migrations;

• Strong experience with Jenkins pipelines, Docker;

• Experience with Linux system administration (bash scripting);

• Experience with puppet, ansible or chef;

• Hands on experience with build tools (cmake, maven, sbt);

• Good source control knowledge (Git, Gerrit);

• Upper intermediate and higher English;

• Knowledge of German is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Advice and implement effective monitoring of common or shared services such as messaging queues, databases, and web servers;

• Build and maintain CI & CD infrastructure;

• Work with development teams to ensure the security and scalability of deployed solutions;

• Develop deployment strategies for new services;

• Communication with customer;

• Estimation of efforts.
