Senior QA Automation Engineer for re-skilling into Senior Java Dev (offline)

Project Description:
The role is non-standard - we are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer that will work purely on Java Dev tasks. We tend to believe that Seniority is a skill and Senior QA Automation Engineer can become Senior Java developer in a reasonable timeline.
During the 2008 financial crisis, many big banks failed or faced issues due to liquidity issues. Lack of liquidity can kill any financial institution over the night. That's why it's so critical to constantly monitor liquidity risks and properly maintain collaterals.
Our platform helps the bank to increase efficiency and scalability, reduce operational risk and eliminate the majority of manual interventions in processing margin calls.
Responsibilities:The candidate will work on development of new functionality for Liqudity Risk platform closely with other teams over the globe.
Mandatory Skills Description:
- 3+ years of experience in automation as well as manual testing of complex back-end applications
- Experience in writing automation tests o Java
- Readiness and desire to work on both manual and automation testing
- Excelent mathematical anaytics skills
- Good understanding of the theoretical aspects of software testing
- Experience of work with multiple frameworks for automation tests and results reporting
- Good spoken and written English
- Team player with an ability of expressing own ideas
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with automation scripting and knowledge of any automation technology (Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, Spring Web etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline: Team City, Jenkins, Git, etc.
- Banking and enterprise environment experience is a plus
- Experience with any programming language - Java is preferable
