Senior Front-End Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Front-End Developer to join our team. You will work in a team at esurance, a Swiss Fintech company.

Our main product is a configurable insurance distribution platform that connects small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), insurance providers, business application service providers and brokers. By creating a digital entry point into the insurance market we enable efficient distribution and advisory processes for smart insurance solutions. Founded in 2013, we’re a successful scale-up.
The project is long-term, and now it is on the stage of active development.

Qualifications & Experience
· 5+ years of experience as a Front-End Engineer;
· JavaScript programming and React.js framework;
· React hooks, React context;
· Experience with ReactJS 15+, Redux/Mobx or other state manager;
· Understanding of app/browser performance;
· Upper-Intermediate spoken and written English;
· Understanding of OOP/OOD concepts;
· People-oriented and a team player;
· Familiarity with node.js or any other back-end language is a plus.

Responsibilities:
· Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code;
· Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements;
· Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards;
· Support test and deployment of new products and features;
· Participate in code reviews;
· Be proactive, as a team member.
