ASP.NET Full Stack Web Developer $2500-3500

We are looking for a Mid-level Software Developer to produce and implement functional software solutions as well as offer mentorship to junior developers. You will work with our Chicago and Ukraine based teams.

Required skills
3+ years of experience
Comfortable with complex problem-solving and abstract thinking.

Understanding of MVC
Familiar with AWS (at least EC2, RDS, S3)
Extraordinary attention to detail and careful execution.
Upper intermediate level of English - Can hold a basic conversation in English and has adequate reading abilities to understand project requirements.

Responsibilities
We are looking for a Mid-level Software Developer to produce and implement functional software solutions as well as offer mentorship to junior developers. You will work with our Chicago based management to provide time estimates based on task assignments, design database structures based on system requirements, and depending on experience take the lead on operational and technical projects. In this role, you should be able to work independently with little supervision. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills. You should be ready to provide coaching and advice for junior developers, including advice on ideal technical approaches for new tasks and code review.

New projects will typically be done in C#. Debugging and development for existing clients with VB.NET will also be required. Time will be given to the employee to learn the other language if they are only experienced in one (C# or VB.NET). A positive attitude towards learning new skills and solving interesting client problems is essential.

Project task assignments will take into consideration each candidate’s existing skillset, experience, and ability to take on new challenges.

To start, you will work on small and medium-sized projects, such as migrating existing clients’ systems to a modern technology stack and cloud. In time, you will be involved in existing or new long-term projects. You will work with developers in Ukraine, as well as with the leading engineer and the project manager in Chicago.
