Senior Front-End Developer (React) Offline

Edvantis opens the position of a Senior Front-End Developer to join the project of our US-based partner.

The software is aimed to support scientific research on different phases of this research. Now, it is deploying to AWS.

Our clients provide an integrated suite of SaaS solutions that improve collaboration between researchers and administrators, help mitigate compliance risks, and simplify every stage of the research lifecycle.

You will work in a highly motivated team with experienced developers. Currently, we are building a new team to rewrite the already existing 5 apps. Once the new version is available, the legacy apps will be deprecated.

Responsibilities:

Usage of methods and techniques to formalize and algorithmize given tasks, usage of standard algorithms in the respective tasks

Debugging methods and techniques

Usage of the chosen programming languages and environments to write the program code

Usage of tools for collaborative work on the program code, usage of version control system for tracking applied changes

Methods and techniques for software modules and components assembly

Development methods and techniques for software deployment procedures, techniques for batch implementation of the procedures

Identify bugs in the code and correctly interpret bug reports

Apply methods and techniques to debug the code as well as use modern compilers, debuggers, and optimizers

Ability to implement methods and techniques of software modules and components assembly for software deployment, data migration, and conversion

Requirements:

5+ years of experience with JavaScript

4+ experience with React/Redux

Understanding of software design and architecture

Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM

Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence)

Ability to quickly learn new technologies

Problem solving skills

Able to conduct assessment and justification of the recommended solutions

Attention to client

English level – Upper-Intermediate
