Senior Software Engineer, C++ at Kronos Research (offline) $4000-6000

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of our core libraries that support high-frequency trading strategies
Work on optimizing performance and expanding the reach of our trading platform that collects data from and sends orders to exchanges around the world
Leverage advanced algorithms and data structures to improve the speed and accuracy of our tick by tick backtesting research platform
Create tools to deploy, monitor and analyze our production processes crucial to the firm’s success
Interact directly with traders to communicate technology changes, manage incidents and troubleshoot problems
Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews and internal sharing

Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of strong Object-Oriented programming experience using C++ in a linux environment
Strong understanding of computer systems, multithreading, networks, and performance optimization
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience developing low latency systems a plus
Strong written communication skills and intermediate English skills
Passion and curiosity for quant trading and cryptocurrency markets
