Strong Middle Java Web Developer in Global IT Company (offline)

What we definitely expect:

• Three years or more experience developing Web-based applications for the Java platform
• Solid Computer Science fundamentals knowledge (algorithms, data structures, concurrency, etc.)
• Preferably a B.Sc. degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Engineering
• Strong knowledge of Java, Servlets
• Practical experience with HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery
• Intermediate level or better English language communication skills


What we’d love you to have experience with:
• Knowledge on implementing and consuming REST API, SOAP web servers
• Experience with developing for databases (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL knowledge
• Working in an Agile, iterative development environment
• Dealing with software vulnerabilities and securing web applications

• Logical thinker with exceptional problem solving skills
• An appreciation of modern user interface and software design
• Creative, innovative developer with a passion for making great software
• Ability to make and deliver on commitments

Responsibilities

You’d work in the product company Micro Focus on the enterprise source control system (SCCM, Dimensions CM www.microfocus.com/...​ts/dimensions-cm/overview ). It’s actually much more than just a version control system, including deployment, build, bug-tracking, code-review modules, etc. Dimensions CM is used to develop software faster and safer by engineers of the world-famous aerospace missions, banks, automotive, healthcare, and many others.
Your development skills will be applied to the core web applications of our product, working in a mature scrum team with experienced and friendly colleagues (5 Developers, 2 QAs, Product Owner).
