QA Automation

Looking for QA Automation - remote possible or Kiev.

Project Description:
• Deployment of the application components (FinCad F3, Java-based monolith and services) into new hosting infrastructure
• Engineering of Kafka-based communication medium between upstream applications and FinCad's F3 python based platform
• Establishment of AppDynamic, Splunk, Prometheus powered monitoring platform
• Performing testing of various types: from performance and load testing to fail and DR

Responsibilities:
• Work with delivery, infrastructure and business stakeholders to design and spec out quality assurance plan for a large distributed business-critical risk platform
• Design tests strategy and tests for reliability, stress and load tolerance, fail and disaster recovery covering all key application and infrastructure components
• Automate tests for key functional, load, stress, fail and DR scenarios, prepare data for tests
• Orchestrate and execute program-level testing exercises across all involved groups, report the outcomes and present them to key stakeholders

Mandatory Skills Description:
• 3+ years of IT experience
• Selenium - 2+ years
• Proven relevant commercial experience in system, integration, regression, performance and test automation - 2+ years
• Load testing (e.g. JMeter) - 1+ year
• Strong experience of creation of test cases and plan - 2+ years
• Exploratory testing - 1+ year
• SQL - 1 year+
• Java OR Python - Medium


Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in scripting (shell/python etc) Low/Medium
• Background on testing on cloud-based platforms Low/Medium
• Financial background/domain Low/Medium
• Experience with distributed systems Low/Medium
• MQ, Web Services, JMS Servers
