Role Description:
CSC Generation Engineering needs the best software engineers to support our team’s mission of improving the tech stack of our portfolio companies. We manage existing websites while building cross-product components and upgrading legacy stacks to cutting-edge technologies. We work in cross-functional teams consisting of developers, QA, and DevOps specialists, along with input from the Product team. The team strives to improve and develop portfolio companies' websites and shared components to make them faster and more successful. We are collaborative, with an emphasis on iteration and learning. We want someone who is excited to work with various tech in a fast-paced culture, wants to make an immediate impact and is ready to rise to the challenge of a growing organization. As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with us to:
Build performant frontend components in React.js
Rip-and-replace legacy services
Architect and design greenfield projects solving a single problem
Mentor other members of the engineering team in performance, scalability, and engineering best practices
Maintain and contribute to our culture of Quality

Can work on both frontend and backend components (if you're stronger in frontend or backend, we'd still like to hear from you)
Are capable of being the technical owner of an internally facing consumer microservice product
Have experience with our tech stack: AWS (ie: Lambda, ElastiCache, CloudFront, CodePipeline), Node.js, React.js
Believe in ownership throughout the entire software lifecycle, not only to the next handoff
Believe in finding the best solution, not just one that works
