DevOps Engineer

Miratech is in search of an experienced DevOps Engineer with Linux, AWS, MySQL, Kubernetes, Docker, Shell/Python, Jenkins and good in system, network and application administration to join the client's investment startup project.

Project description:

Our client is an app-based brokerage that aims to make investing in the stock market more accessible and less intimidating. The mission is to simplify stock investing; because 86% of the population has never had a chance to own stock due to its intricate and expensive, but we will help to make stock investing easier for everyone

Core skills we are looking for:

3+ years of experience with AWS (Foundation and Platform Service), MySQL and Linux environment
1 + year of experience with Kubernetes and Docker
Strong level in scripting (Shell/ Python, etc.)
Experience in designing & building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and automated tools for configuration & change management
Deep level of the system, network, and application administration
Advanced understanding of common network protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, DHCP, SSH, etc.)
SLA, SLO and SLI knowledge and implementation
Experience in designing & building automated solutions for RESTful APIs
Upper-Intermediate written and spoken English

Nice to have:

Basic level of Java, experience with Java ecosystem
Strong in troubleshooting, problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, ability to recognise "big picture"
Experience in Finance domain

Responsibilities:

Define, develop, implement and standardize automated solutions for software builds configuration, deployments, and monitoring.
Identify and reduce any areas of manual toil through automation.
Troubleshooting in complex technical production environments.
Continually improve systems reliability and performance.
Define, implement and follow systems’ SLAs and SLIs.
Automate software builds, configurations, and deployments to testing and production environments.
