Senior QA Engineer (Optiva) Offline

Your opportunity and activities you’ll be involved in with Optiva:

 

Responsible for the quality of the products, and making it function in public and private cloud environments;

Responsible for troubleshooting and reproducing technical problems, documenting and following them until full resolution;

Taking part in both internal/customer projects and operations;

Responsible for analyzing software, tools, and scripts to automate testing, quality control and monitoring on Preproduction system;

Participating in functional, non-functional and exploratory testing across various project lines;

Collaboration with cloud engineers in understanding new cloud technologies and investigating the way to improve quality of the products based on their compatibility;

Collaboration in the software development lifecycle to develop detailed test coverage including test plans and test cases, bugs and technical issues definitions;

Navigate the path of functional requirements through quality gates to Production deployments;

Proactively look for ways to create efficient testing approaches on short and long term testing cycles;

Manage, participate in, or directly work on any additional projects, assignments, or initiatives assigned by management;

Create/maintain documentation for test and operational procedures;

Document and perform system pre-checks, application tests, and define additional testing requirements based on customer needs;

Participate in an on-call rotation in a distributed Worldwide team.

 

What you'll need to hop on board and hit the ground running:

 

5+ years of related experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control;

5+ years of technical testing experience in complex high-pressure environments;

Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Technology Engineering or equivalent work experience;

Strong experience with the Agile software development methodology and collaboration with internal teams to deliver software and configuration artifacts;

Understanding of quality control principles and quality assurance definitions of done in projects;

Strong background in test automation and automated testing tools;

GitHub/Jenkins/Terraform experience;

Experience with Docker or similar container solution;

Solid understanding of Development lifecycle and QA part in it - from requirements to post-delivery support.

 

It would be much easier for you if you have:

 

Experience in testing distributed, service oriented applications;

Experience with Java build tools including Gradle;

1+ Telco experience (5G, IOT, AI, BigData, ML);

Experience in testing Linux-based Server-related applications.

 

And, of course, you have a full-steam ahead desire for:
