QA Engineer

Student Information System (SIS) is a centralized platform for hosting and managing student data. Aspen SIS safely and securely stores data like class schedules, school events, student performance, athletic eligibility, individual health records, and much more.

What You’ll Do:
- Analysis of requirements, specifications and technical design documents
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test documentation
- Perform thorough regression testing
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Demonstrate results of team work for clients
- Identify KPI for product quality

Required Skills:

- 0.5 + years of commercial experience as an QA Engineer in web-applications
- Basic knowledge of open source and or commercially available tools
- Knowledge of HTTP protocol and basic knowledge of API testing
- Attention to details
- Analytical thinking
- Good time management, self-organization and communication skills
- English: Intermediate or above

We’d also like to see (but don’t require) hands-on experience with:
- JavaScript knowledge
