About algorithmic trading projects

You will be working on several projects related to algorithmic trading. It will include trading platforms, trading strategies, integration with stock and crypto exchanges and brokerage platforms. Our company is utilizing the expertise and the best practices in the trading industry to build a leading trading platform that will dramatically improve financial markets. We believe in digital-native products and are passionate about bringing our vision to scale.

Your Role

To build integration to exchange platforms APIs (REST, Websockets)
Create profitable trading algorithms and strategies
To integrate the system with 3rd party service providers, including custody services and liquidity providers.
To be an integral part of an empowered and self-organizing team
To pair with others and review work, sharing knowledge and increasing quality across the board.
To implement and deliver the product in a timely manner and iterate over it.
To provide the best guidance on when to cut the corners, and when to avoid that.
To estimate the timeline to implement features and follow that timelines.
To ensure proper memory management is used, avoiding any garbage generation inside the core cluster.
To speak up on any ways the company may improve the processes, code, quality, etc - champion continuous improvement of technology and the ways we work.


Your Profile
You have strong experience in backend development on Python.
You can build and debug reliable, highly available, secure and performant backends, handling Websocket, REST, and FIX datastreams efficiently.
You have experience with in-memory data storages.
You have experience with message-driven architectures.
Experience with trading systems or crypto trading is a plus.
You care about quality and know when and how to ship code safely.
You have experience with most of the next: PostgreSQL, Linux, Docker, REST API, Flask, SQL, Redis/RabbitMQ/Kafka, MongoDB
You have a solid understanding of system design
You can reason and drive technical decisions.
You get inspired, think of new ideas, and like to share them with others.
You have at least an advanced level of written and spoken English.
