Autonomous Ships Engineer to $6000 Offline
Requirements:
- 5+ years of C++ development experience on the LINUX platform
- Familiarity with Python development experience
- Understanding of computer architecture, embedded system programming
- Familiarity with Google Test framework
- Strong C++ knowledge
- Hands-on C++11 and C++14 experience
- Strong Linux skills
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
Nice to have:
- ROS, MOOS or equivalent robotics architecture knowledge and experience
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- BS, MS, or Ph.D in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or another related engineering field.
- Prior experience developing software for complex integrated dynamic hardware applications (like autonomy, robotics or others)
- Experience with building autonomous systems containing both perception and control..
- Good communications skills (verbal and written), ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain C++ and Python code on the Linux platform
- Write and maintain Bash Shell scripts
- Create and manage microservice containers with Kubernetes
- Interface with third-party marine autonomy software packages
- Interface with data persisted in MongoDB
- Write and maintain Unit and End-to-End Tests
- Help maintain DevOps and CI/CD infrastructure
- Participate in code peer review process
- Read documentation artifacts with UML
- Identify and fix application defects
