React Frontend Developer

Looking for middle/senior React Developer to a new development project - React/ Redux/TypeScript, fully remote.

Task
Building new web apps from scratch as part of the global platform. Started working on two projects a few months ago, few more web apps to be started. Huge roadmap of new functionality that needs to be developed.

Requirements
Ranging from the Middle level with at least 3y of React experience to the Senior level with 5+ years of experience.
5+ years of professional experience in building WEB applications
3+ years of experience with React, Redux, JavaScript, TypeScript / HTML5 / CSS
Unit testing (Jest, Mocha or others)
Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English
Team player with the ability to work in a distributed team
Understanding of Agile software development principles

Duties
Drive engineering from concept to finished product
Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Contribute to client-side and server-side architecture
Contribute to infrastructure and servers setup automation
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, software engineers, and product managers
Participate in code reviews

Nice to have
Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English
Experience with Open API (aka Swagger)
Experience with Docker
Experience with Less, SASS, Tailwind CS.
Understanding of REST, HTTP, Websockets, TCP/IP networking
Understanding of Linux/Unix systems
Experience with test-driven development practices (unit tests, integration, e2e)
Experience in setting up the CI/CD pipelines

Remote
The team is working remotely from home, while the office on Podil is available 24/7 where we have all the hardware and devices for testing if needed. Using Slack and Zoom for quick communication, as well as JIRA and other standard tools for project management.

Schedule
We're looking for full-time team members with 8h a day or 40h a week availability. There is flexibility in work hours, important to join team or client meetings, like daily standup zoom calls or planning/grooming/demo meetings. Generally, we expect the team to be available from 11am to 7pm for quick collaboration with other team members.

This specific project is for our US-based client who is one of the largest competitors to Wix. They have a variety of products that support small and medium-sized businesses in managing their digital footprint. The solutions include things such as appointment scheduling, reservations management, integrations with shipping services, payment solutions, etc. We’re looking for people to support a variety of projects within their product family including building an API layer and creating entire new products from scratch.
