QA Automation Engineer (offline)

Position Summary:
The Senior Automation Test Engineer designs and executes system testing on large to complex implementations. Works collaboratively with project team and with overseas QA Lead for all testing related activities to accomplish completion of daily QA tasks on-time with a high level of quality. This role will be responsible for writing and executing automated and performance test scripts and tracking defects as they arise. Coordinates product testing with remote teams working in different time zones. Provides test case support for business and quality analysts.

Role Description:
• Analyze all project acceptance criteria and designs that would help to develop test scenarios and test cases for large projects and assist QA Lead and product team with user story sizing.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured automation test plans cases per release cycle
• Generate and execute performance test plans and create quality trend reports based on historical performance results
• Generate and execute comprehensive regression test plans per release
• Integrate defect results with automated reporting and tracking tools
• Perform automated test execution to ensure applications meet business requirements.
• Support manual quality testers with scripting and execution as needed.
• Review manual and automated test cases written by team to ensure complete test coverage
• Interact with business analysts and product team to solidify acceptance criteria and create user acceptance test scopes of the project
• Identify, log and track issues as they arise and communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information.
• Follow defined quality assurance processes to ensure all projects meet testing standards.
