Django Python Full-Stack Developer Offline

We’re looking for a Lead developer to join our new team in Ukraine and be a part of our Canadian team. You will be responsible for high and low-level implementation design, development, third-party integrations and testing.

The current tech stack is:

-Linux / Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

-Docker, VMWare

-PostgreSQL 11, pgAdmin4

-Django 2.2, Python 3.7

-SQL

-Javascript, JQuery

-HTML5, CSS

-Stanford Natural Language Processing (NLP) Library, NLTK

Current API integrations are:

-Google workspace,

-Microsoft 365, Graph, Azure

-Stripe payments

You will be responsible for complex core Python and NLP development and more 3rd party integrations (Zoom, Salesforce) in the Django 2.2 framework with a simple HTML-Javascript front-end. Your main focus will be the back-end with secondary responsibilities for the simple front-end.

Requirements:

-3+ years commercial experience with Django 2.x and Python 3.x

-Strong knowledge of SQL and Relational Database design

-Experience utilizing cloud services such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Heroku etc.

-Strong problem solver, likes to learn new technologies and skills

-DevOps thinking

-Good spoken English is a must

-Self-motivated and able to work independently without micro management

-Possess strong analytical, logical and design engineering skills

-Interest in the AI, Machine Learning industry

Will be a plus:

-Stanford Natural Language Library – Stanza, sutime, CoreNLPClient

-REST API integration with Zoom, Salesforce.com, Stripe

-Web scraping, HTML parsing experience / Beautiful Soup 4

-Some experience with Django Rest Framework

-Some experience with React or Angular or Vue

-Networking, TCP/IP, https, SSL, NAT, IP addressing/subnets, DNS
