About the Customer and the Project:

Our customer is the world’s largest DNA network from the USA. With more than 27+ billion digitized global historical records, 100 million family trees, and 16+ million people in their growing database, our customers help people discover their family stories and gain actionable insights about their health and wellness. And one of our team is working on a system that aggregates marketing analytical data around different products of our customer’s project which helps to provide the best service to users.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and solve advanced technical challenges

- Interacting with various stakeholders to vet the technical requirements

- Develop new features for the various marketing support tools in our organization

- Work on cloud migration and tech transition initiatives

- Write code that follows standards and best practices, especially around performance, stability, and testability

- Work in a collaborative agile environment (SCRUM)

You will help deliver high-quality and impactful features to improve our product. We use the latest open-source tools and technologies. Your work will have a direct impact on user experience and the core product. We are looking for someone who is keen on learning new skills, willing to compromise, not afraid to fail, and ready to take on new challenges!

Qualifications:

- at least 2+ years of prior industry development experience Node.JS

- Solid knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML

- 2+ years of experience building RESTful services in a microservices environment

- Strong understanding of data structures and design patterns

- CI/CD

- Strong command-line experience using remote access Linux

- Experience working within an Agile development environment

- Engaged in current technology trends, experience researching and evaluating new techniques, concepts, and tools

- English: Strong intermediate level at least (both speaking and writing)

Skills that would be a plus:

- Experience with React (with hooks)

- Nodejs frameworks like - Express

- Cache - Memcached, Redis

- Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, EMR, RDS)

Tech Stack of the Project:

TypeScript/RestAPI/NodeJS/ExpressJS/AWS/MySQL
