Senior Python engineer to join the product development team

We are currently searching for a Senior Python engineer to join the product development team of Propell partner located in the USA.

Project:
We are currently searching for a Senior Python engineer to join the product development team of Propell partner located in the USA. That will be a web-based AI platform that helps accountants, CFOs, controllers, and accounts payable (AP) teams become more efficient and reduce errors on routine tasks such as invoice processing, approval workflows, and electronic payment processing. You will become part of the global development team and will focus on platform’s new modules development as well as further system enhancements.

We provide you with the following exciting challenges:
• End-to-end product development: new features and enhancement of existing ones
• Maintain and evolve the existing landscape of tools
• Write tests as part of your coding routine and strive for code quality and maintainability
• Actively contribute to the identification of the problems and their solutions
• Cooperate with Product Owner and remote\distributed dev team
• Mentor less experienced teammates

We expect from you:
• At least 5 years of experience as software engineer
• 3+ years of Python experience
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong experience with big data technologies in building innovative data products
• Very strong experience creating ML\AI and predictive models applications
• Strong experience with AWS cloud computing
• Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate to stakeholders on multiple levels
• Action- and quality-orientation
• Being a team player
• English: upper-intermediate / advanced

Would be a plus:
• Experience working in cross-functional and cross-border teams
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile environments
• Experience with fintech
• Pair programming experience
