Job description

As a Middle QA Engineer, you get a chance to contribute to development of our digital banking platform with focus on a quality deliverable.

With guidance from a Senior QA Engineer, you develop, enhance and execute manual and automated tests that cover functional and non-functional requirements (e.g. performance and security), provide test evidence and reports and comment on test designs and plans. You astonish your team and key stakeholders with your eagerness to learn about our product and testing processes. Your passion for quality extends beyond scripting tests. You have an eye for detail and contribute to continuously improving the testing process in your team. You are able to explain your testing findings. You also understand the value of collaboration and soliciting opinions and approaches. Therefore, you ask for advice and consider different possibilities.

You will be a part of a team that is responsible for the quality of educational materials - video training and documentation.

These instructions cover the e2e scenarios for developers and describe how to implement integration, configuration and customization of developed banking services.

The main goal is to automate the existing materials and fully emulate the user behavior including local environment setup and verifying the results of passed steps.

Qualifications

Has a basic understanding of web architecture

Has a basic knowledge of Javascript or Typescript

Understands the importance of cross browser/platform testing

Is eager to learn about Backbase Widget Collection Architecture

Framework: Protractor + Cucumber JS, CI/CD: Jenkins, experience with VCS
