Senior Systems Software Engineer, Software Integration (offline)

NVIDIA is looking for a world-class engineer to join its DPU (Data Processing Unit) Software group. The position would be part of a team that is responsible for creating an outstanding user experience for our leading networking products. NVIDIA is forging a vision of incredible user experiences in the networking, embedded and automotive spaces by combining our cutting edge BlueField and GPU development efforts into innovative, boundary pushing and genre defining products. BlueField integration group is responsible for creating run-time and development SW packages running on BlueField DPU based products in Data-Centers and edge nodes around the world. The team interacts with numerous organizations across the company, combining multiple SW packages and SDKs into a leading software product

What you’ll be doing:

Developing DevOps tools using various NVIDIA proprietary and other cutting edge technologies to help build better CI/CD workflows.

Crafting efficiency and usability improvements across NVIDIA proprietary products that will help streamline various release pipelines and processes across NVIDIA.

Definition and development of SDKs to be used for BlueField SW development

Creating and maintaining build system for complex SW products

What we need to see:

Bachelor's/Master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering (or equivalent experience

Experience with Software build process using cmake, autotools, gcc

Background with Software packaging environments (RPM, DEB)

Experience with Docker, Ansible, Jenkins pipelines

3+ years of experience in developing DevOps tools and CI/CD process

Strong Python and Bash skills

Linux and ESXi development experience

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

Experience with bootloaders

Contribution to open source projects

Strong interests towards groundbreaking technologies and ability to take initiatives and drive them across multiple functional teams.
