Senior Java Developer Offline

Requirements:

* At least 5-8 years in backend application development.

* At least 2-3 years of cloud application experience in production. If this experience is in GCP, it’s a plus.

* High skill in Java.

* At least one significant experience involving architecture / pattern decision making.

* You have significant experience in technical team leadership.

* Autonomous but able to work in a team.

* A real facility to communicate and report on progress, projects, etc.

* English level - upper-intermediate

Will be a plus:

* Experience is in GCP;

* Fluent in English, French or Italian is a big plus

About Project:

Client is an international SAAS based company specialised in document management. Development team around 10 developers.

Tech stack: Java, Spring, GCP.

Responsibilities:

* Refactoring and modularization to move the architecture from monolith to modules / services;

* Prototyping and developing new components : search index, file system, database;

* Be a member of the core backend team, close to the CTO, and be a stakeholder in the architecture decisions of the components /ecosystem of the platform;

* Be responsible for the quality and performance of the system as a whole;

* Be responsible for the application of the rules and best practices required by our developments.
