We use data to understand how users interact with our products, and how to prioritize & strategize the changes that make us the innovative company we are. With over 200 million users (and 2 million new users a month), we collect over a billion events a day. That’s a huge 4TB of data added daily!

We are looking for a Data Developer Intern to join the Data Developers Guild and contribute to Wix’s data-driven ethos.

You are:

A computer science (CS) or software engineering (SE) graduate who is passionate about data development or a self-made developer with no formal education in CS/SE with 1-2 years of experience in data development/ETL/data modeling or related fields. You’re a fast learner with a great understanding of data development concepts and coding principles. Besides being an awesome developer, you work equally as well on your own and as part of a team. Communication is a breeze for you, and you’re problem solver who challenges when needed.

As Data Developer Intern, you will:

- Participate in the Data Developers Guild projects and support Data Organisation in solving ad-hoc tasks.

- Write world-class readable, replaceable, maintainable, and testable code.

- Learn, master, and practice the art of test-driven development and continuous delivery.

- Demonstrate a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

- Adapt to large-scale data challenges and nail them.
