Senior React.js Engineer, Online Events Platform

Our client is a London-based startup that provides software for online events. Its virtual events technology enables attendees to connect and interact with people from all over the world.

We are looking for senior Front-end developer to work on the Event Marketing team. The Event Marketing team is tasked with improving the ability for event organizers to market their event, and to communicate with past, present and future attendees.

We are migrating the existing capabilities (jQuery, Ruby on Rails) to React and require an experienced FE developer to lead the UI development. You will work closely with the Product, Design, and Engineering team members to translate the requirements into tasks and stories and will lead the development of the UI within a cross-functional team.

Must have
- 5+ years of front-end development experience
- Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React and JQuery
- Understanding of key design principles
- Experience leading FE development including defining and implementing best practices, production of testable, readable code, working with more junior colleagues to help them improve
- Spoken English
